Coffee Table Treats: Pretzel Hugs

DSC_2660_2I have not touched this page in well over a year, and that is ridiculous. I just have always been unsure of what I wanted to do with it, and I have a hard enough time keeping up with my regular blog entries as it is. I think that I have finally come up with an idea that I am happy with. So allow me to introduce you to Coffee Table Treats!

I recently bought this massive glass jar to keep on my coffee table. I stole the idea from my Sister in Law, Kendal, because she had one at her lovely home. My whole family snacked like crazy when we went to visit them, and I decided that I had to have a snack jar for my coffee table. I also stole her idea of what to put in the jar – pretzel hugs! These are from Pinterest, and they are super quick and easy to make. I had them out for about a week, and my husband’s family ate all of them so they must have been good.

I have included the very short and quick recipe below, and whenever I run out of snacks for the jar from now on, I will make something new!
Pretzel Hugs:
1 family size bag square pretzels
2 bags Hershey’s hugs

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.

Line a baking tray/cookie sheet with foil and lay out however many pretzels you can fit on the sheet side by side. Top each pretzel with a hug.
