Dark Chocolate Pumpkin Brownies
Ingredients:
- 1 box dark chocolate brownie mix (or your favourite brownie mix)
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper (or grease the pan).
- Combine the brownie mix, 2 of the eggs, water and the vegetable oil in a bowl with a whisk until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine the pumpkin, 1 egg, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and powdered sugar with a whisk until smooth.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture on top of the brownie batter and spread with a spatula.
- Use a small spatula or butter knife to create swirls in the batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees F. for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares and serving.
