Fall in the 'Bourbs Cocktail
Ingredients:
Fall in the 'Bourbs Cocktail
- 1 teaspoon cardamom simple syrup (recipe below)
- 1 ounce of your favourite bourbon (we used 1792 bourbon)
- 1 ounce champagne
- 1 ounce apple cider
- Apple slices and cloves (for garnish)
Cardamom Simple Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 10-15 whole cardamom pods
Instructions:
Fall in the 'Bourbs Cocktail
- Place the simple syrup in the bottom of a glass, swirling to coat the bottom of the glass.
- Add the bourbon, champagne and apple cider, swirling to mix everything.
- Add a large ice cube or whatever ice you've got on hand.
- Place a couple of cloves through some apple slices to use as a garnish, if desired.
Cardamom Simple Syrup
- Combine everything in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to a simmer, cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
