Hot Chocolate Bread
Ingredients:
- 1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup dark or semisweet chocolate chunks
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and line loaf pans with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the sugar, eggs and melted butter until smooth.
- Whisk together the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and add alternately with sour cream to the butter and sugar mixture.
- Fold in chocolate chunks and mini marshmallows.
- Pour into prepared loaf pans. See notes below about the loaf pan sizes and baking times.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the size of the pans you are using. Refer to the notes below. Let the loaves cool in the pan about 10 minutes and then remove from pan and cool on racks or let cool completely in disposable loaf pans and package with plastic and ribbons to give away.
