Nutella Overnight Oats
Ingredients:
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- 2 tablespoons Nutella
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or other sweetener
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds, optional for added protein and texture
- Fresh fruit such as sliced bananas and blackberries, hazelnut chocolate chunks and/or Nutella, for serving
Instructions:
- Combine the chocolate milk, Nutella and maple syrup with a whisk or fork. Note that the Nutella will be easier to stir in if you warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds. An alternative is to use a blender to mix it in.
- Stir in the oats and chia seeds. Place in a sealed container in the fridge overnight (or for a minimum of 2 hours).
- Serve cold topped with fresh fruit such as sliced bananas and blackberries, hazelnut chocolate chunks and/or a spoonful of Nutella.
