Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Use a mixer to cream together the shortening and sugars until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until fluffy.
  3. Add flour, baking soda and salt, mixing until combined into a dough.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop into 1 inch balls and place on parchment-lined sheet in the freezer for 15 minutes while you preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  6. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes until the edges are just browning.
  7. Sprinkle with a little sea salt, if desired.
