Vanilla Chai Cupcakes

Instructions:

  1. Vanilla Chai Cupcakes:
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  3. Cream together the butter and brown sugar with a mixer until smooth.
  4. Add the egg and coconut oil, beating until smooth.
  5. Whisk together the dry ingredients (flour through pepper) in a separate bowl.
  6. Add the dry ingredients and the vanilla chai tea to the wet ingredients in 2 alternating additions, beginning with the flour.
  7. Blend just until combined.
  8. Line a cupcake tray with papers. Fill each about 3/4 of the way with batter.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Remove from tray and cool completely on a cooling rack before frosting.
  11. Frosting:
  12. Combine all ingredients with a mixer until smooth. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
